The seasons are changing and so should your skincare routine. During the spring and summer, we’re warmer, tanner and likely perspire more. This calls for make-up that is more sheer and tones that are lighter. When we begin to wear fall colors, we need to adjust our makeup to compliment the tones, and blend with our skin as our tan is likely fading. This means deepening the shades we wear. If we don’t shift to deeper colors, it tends to make us look sleepy and faded, and we certainly don’t want to move into hibernation mode!
We also need to rethink our skincare routine – adjusting our level of moisturizer and making sure we consistently exfoliate. Next week I’ll dive deeper into exfoliation – why it’s important and why you need to make sure it’s part of your routine.
